fluid

mosaic model, as compared to life

so at first a cell membrane might seem to be somewhat stagnant, maybe somewhere on the spectrum between a balloon and a jellyfish

but the fluid mosaic model presents a cell membrane not as solid but somewhat shifting

as I get older/this morning on my run haha, I am thinking of life like this; less inert and permanent more transition and motion

which could help alleviate the attachments that tend to get us into trouble: to a thing, to a person, to a certain place and time, and to also help embrace the moment
